Where do we store your data?

The data that we collect from you is stored within the Saunders Training Centre management information systems and relevant information may be held in our secure database. Information such as: Name, address, D.o.B, email, mobile/telephone number, NI number, previous training history, basic medical history (relevant to driving heavy machinery) will be collected via our Confidential Delegate Information Form prior to any training course commencing.

Who can access your data?

This privacy notice sets out how we may collect, use and share information about candidates who have attended a Saunders Training Centre training course. We receive information directly from candidates in application forms and through other means. We hold and use this information as a data controller (whether on our own account, or in-common with our accredited organisations).

Data that is forwarded to third parties, is only used to provide you with our services.

The information which we collect or are provided with about you may include personal details together with details relating to your training and your registration for, and achievement of qualifications. We will retain this information in our management information systems and some information may be held in our secure database. We will hold this information for as long as it is necessary for us to use and share it as described in this privacy notice. We may disclose information relating to your training and qualifications to employers and third parties acting upon behalf of your employers. e.g. NPORS, ALLMI & ITSSAR

Your details allow us to stay in contact with you when your training certificates require renewal. We will email you with the details, so you can book a refresher course with us.

The information which we hold may be checked with you and from time to time to ensure that it remains up to date. Should your personal circumstances change, you should notify Saunders Training Centre immediately.

What are your rights?

Right to access:

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact Saunders Training Centre and we will provide you with your personal data via e- mail.

Right to portability:

Whenever Saunders Training Centre processes your personal data, by automated means based on your consent or based on an agreement, you have the right to get a copy of your data transferred to you or to another party. This only includes the personal data you have submitted to us.

Right to erasure:

You have the right to erase any personal data processed by Saunders Training Centre at any time.

How can you exercise your rights?

Right to complain with a supervisory authority:

If you consider Saunders Training Centre to process your personal data in an incorrect way you can contact us. You also have the right to raise a complaint to a supervisory authority.

We may need to update our Privacy Notice. The latest version of the Privacy Notice is always available on our website. We will communicate any material changes to the Privacy Notice, for example the purpose of why we use your personal data, the identity of the Controller or your rights.
